Robert Walls played with Percy for much of his playing career at Carlton before
finishing his playing career at Fitzroy. He played 259 games, captained Carlton for 2
years, played in 3 premierships and is in the Australian Football Hall of Fame. After
playing, he then had a coaching career of 347 games, coaching Fitzroy, Carlton,
Brisbane Bears and Richmond.
Robert was subsequently in demand in the media as a football commentator,
columnist and for expert comments. He has worked across print, radio, free to air TV
and Fox.
More recently he has been living in France and has helped his dog Gus write a book
“Gus and Wallsy’s French Revelation”.
