AFL Finals
This is a John Harms Footy Almanac Lunch and he will run this Lunch interviewing special
guests on a Finals theme.
One of the special guests will be Wayne Henwood, former South Freemantle, Glenelg & Swans player, and a strong influence on NSW football. He is now a Victorian Barrister and on the AFL Tribunal – one of the 3 members on the Essendon saga – a great follow on from our last guest speaker. With John Harms, Wayne will be a very interesting and entertaining guest.
With the Geelong-Sydney semi final on at the MCG on Friday night, we thought we’d start the
build up with a Cats-Swans lunch. We have invited some Swans and Cats, and others, and we
will have a chat to an ancient Richmond supporter, as well as a few who remember just about
everything about Geelong semis. We have people coming down from Sydney and Perc can
give us a few finals memories as well.
MENU – $40 + Drink
Entree – Winter Vegetable and Lentil Soup
Main – BBQ Baby Chicken with Spanish Chickpea, Chorizo & Red Pepper Salad with
Saffron Aioli or
Marinated Roast Pork, roasted Jerusalem Artichoke, Pea, Mint and Pancetta
with Garlic Cream.
Dessert – Local & Imported Cheeses with Quince, Pear & Apple.
